  • Road closures
    • London Road in Stroud is now closed on Saturdays from Cornhill to the end of John Street to make Stroud town centre a safe place to shop and visit while coronavirus social distancing measures are in place.
    • Farm Lane, Oakridge Lynch from it’s junction with Bakers Mill to outside the property known as Frampton Place. This road will be closed from 4th January to 22nd January 2021 for repairs to retaining walls.
    • Holloway Road, Bisley For approximately 2 days between the hours 07:00 to 17:00.
      The PLANNED dates are currently Tuesday 15th December to Wednesday 16th December; however keep an eye on the signs on site for any short notice changes.
    • The Street, Eastcombe The Street from its junction with Fidges Lane to its junction with Wells Road for a distance of approximately 150 metres from 18th January 2021 until the 26th February 2021.  The reason for the closure is to enable repair of a drystone retaining wall which supports the highway.
    • Bisley Road To Middle Lypiatt, Stroud  This road will be closed (as per the attached plan) from 19/04/21 to 21/04/21 to allow for boundary box installation by Severn Trent Water. Emergency access will be maintained.

  • Changes to local bus servicesThere have been a number of changes to local bus services affecting Bisley, Eastcombe and Oakridge from 5th September 2016. Cotswold Green will be providing the only service for our three villages – see the new timetable for service 8B. The weekly services to Cirencester and Gloucester have been discontinued.The Stagecoach service between Stroud, Brimscombe and Bussage is still running – see the timetable for Service 61.
