Road Works and Closures

  • London Road in Stroud is now closed on Saturdays from Cornhill to the end of John Street to make Stroud town centre a safe place to shop and visit while coronavirus social distancing measures are in place.
  • Temporary closure: Road to Sydenhams Farm House, Stancombe.This road will be closed (see map), from the 1st March 2022 to 14th March 2022 to allow for works on behalf of Gigaclear. Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained. Access and egress for residents will be managed by Avonline.
  • Patching Schedule – These roads will be closed between the 7th February 2022 and 31st March 2022, to allow contractors, working on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council, to carry out carriageway patching works. Notification of actual dates will be given on site, at least a week before.
