Transport schemes to help patients without cars include the following:

1. Frithwood Surgery has a list of volunteer drivers. They are all patients at the surgery and are happy to take other patients to and from appointments at the surgery.
2. The Stroud Volunteer Bureau operate a Volunteer Car Service for people who cannot use public transport. They can be contacted on 01453 759005.
3. There is a new minibus service, Service 295, run by Gloucestershire County Council, and passengers must book in advance for travel on this service – 01452 423598 – for personal pick up and drop off times.
